SlovakGO

A small rule. A big difference.

Prosím si kávu.

A coffee, please.

Why kávu, not káva?

Káva is the name of the drink. In Prosím si kávu, it is the object of the request and takes the accusative form: kávu. The same pattern applies to Prosím si vodu.

From your first words
to confident conversations.

Every stage has a purpose. Your pace depends on you and your practice beyond lessons.

Contact support
Can I start at a basic level?

Yes. The initial stage builds a foundation for simple communication. If you have studied Slovak before, the placement test in the app helps you choose a suitable starting point.

Are Ukrainian and Russian available?

Yes. Ukrainian, Russian, English and Slovak are available. Choose your language in the app.

Do I need to install an app?

You can learn in your phone’s browser. You can also add SlovakGO to your home screen as a web app. Internet access is needed for learning materials and synchronisation.

How much time should I study?

You can start with 10–15 minutes. Reaching higher levels requires more independent work: reading, listening, writing and conversation. Choose a workload you can sustain regularly.

What is free and what do I pay for?

Your first 10 lessons are free. No payment card needed. Full access requires a separate subscription. Activate your first subscription with a card for 3 days free, then €3 per month or €20 per year, depending on your chosen plan. Renews automatically until cancelled.

Do I need a payment card?

Not for the demo or free registration. A card is only needed to activate a subscription with the 3-day trial.

How do I cancel?

Open the subscription section in the app and manage your plan through the billing portal. You can turn off renewal there. To avoid a charge after the trial, cancel before it ends.

Will the app replace real conversations?

Lessons and exercises help you prepare. Confident speaking requires conversation with colleagues, friends, a teacher or a language partner. Combine study with real communication.

How do I choose my level?

After signing up, start from scratch or choose your level without a test. If you are unsure, you can take a placement test. The result guides your learning; it is not an official certificate.
